In its 10th year, the 2010 Second Empire 5K Classic will feature a competitive and non-competitive 5K run/walk, a one-mile fun run sponsored by A Child’s Hope (www.achildshope.com) and a 100-yard dash for 6-year-olds and younger. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hopeful Parents (www.nchopefulparents.org) which provides community support to adoptive and birth families.
